Comfort Inn & Quality Inn Corporate Codes
Neither Comfort Inn nor Quality Inn issues corporate codes of its own. Both are brands inside the Choice Hotels system, and the number you type into a Comfort Inn or Quality Inn booking is a chain-wide Choice Special Rate ID. This page covers which of those IDs are confirmed at both brands, why the same ID is worth fewer dollars at a Comfort Inn than at a Cambria, where the field sits on the booking form, and which entries we could not confirm.

Which chain Comfort Inn belongs to — and why people keep asking whether it is Hilton
Comfort Inn belongs to Choice Hotels International, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. It is not a Hilton brand, not a Marriott brand and not an IHG brand, and no code issued by any of those three will do anything at a Comfort Inn.
Google's question box for this page's searches carries both halves of the confusion — comfort inn belongs to what hotel chain and is comfort inn part of hilton honors — so both are worth answering plainly.
- The group. Comfort Inn sits inside Choice Hotels International, alongside Comfort Suites, Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge, Rodeway Inn, MainStay Suites, Suburban Studios, WoodSpring Suites, Cambria and the Ascend Hotel Collection. It is the same group that issues the Special Rate IDs listed on this page.
- The loyalty programme. Choice's programme is Choice Privileges. Hilton Honors is Hilton's and does not apply here. If you are trying to work out whose hotel you are standing in, the programme name on the booking page settles it faster than the brand name does.
- The code system. Each group runs its own. Hilton uses corporate account numbers including its N-codes, Marriott uses Corp/Promo or SET numbers, and Choice uses the chain-wide Special Rate ID described above. None of them reads another's number. That is also why a Hilton corporate code that works at a Hampton Inn returns nothing at a Comfort Inn — the two are in different systems entirely.
- Why the confusion is reasonable. Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn chase the same traveller in the same midscale bracket, both are franchise-heavy, and both publish a member rate that usually beats a corporate code. The overlap in what they offer is real; the overlap in who owns them is zero.
If you came here looking for the Hilton side of that comparison, our Hilton corporate codes page covers the group list, and Hampton Inn covers the brands Hilton acquired from Promus in 1999 — a third code system again. The group-level list for this page's own brands is on our Choice Hotels corporate codes page.

Quality Inn — the same Special Rate ID, and why nobody publishes a Quality Inn list
If you arrived here from a "quality inn corporate code" search, the answer is the same three IDs in the table below, typed into the same field. Quality Inn sits in the same Choice brand tier as Comfort Inn, and Choice issues these IDs once, at chain level, for all of its brands at once. We went looking for a Quality-Inn-only number and there is not one to print.
Three things back that up. The first is the one no code site mentions.
- Choice used to be called Quality Inn. The company started in 1939 with seven motels in Florida and renamed itself Quality Inns International in 1972 — before Comfort, Clarion, Cambria and Ascend existed. The brand the whole group is named after is the brand with the fewest dedicated code pages, because there is nothing brand-specific to put on one.
- We measured the results, rather than assuming. Of the nine results Google returned for this phrase in September 2026, seven were the identical pages that rank for "comfort inn corporate code": the same Choice-level code lists, the same forum thread, the same corporate travel PDFs. The only Quality-Inn-specific result in the top ten was a coupon page. We then probed twelve candidate URLs at four code sites for a dedicated Quality Inn page — every one came back empty, 404 or a flat refusal. Nobody has one.
- Four independent listings name Quality Inn as covered. corporate-codes.com says its Choice entries work "across all Choice Privileges properties" and lists Quality Inn explicitly. milepro's brand table files Quality Inn as Budget — the same class as Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway, with Cambria and Ascend a tier above. goingawesomeplaces puts Comfort Inn and Quality Inn in the same "Travel & Relax" umbrella tier. hotelcorporatecodes names Quality Inn second in its list of brands the group covers.
Why neither Comfort Inn nor Quality Inn has a corporate code of its own
Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites are two of the 22 brands Choice Hotels runs, alongside Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria, Econo Lodge, Rodeway, MainStay, Suburban, WoodSpring, Everhome and the Ascend collection. Choice issues corporate and special rate IDs at the chain level, not the brand level. We checked seven listings for this page and not one of them publishes a Comfort-Inn-only code — and the search results for this exact phrase contain no Comfort-Inn-specific page at all. Every result is either a Choice-level code page or a coupon page. If you have been hunting for a Comfort Inn number specifically, the reason you cannot find one is that it does not exist as a separate thing.
Two consequences follow, and both change how you should use the codes below:
- One number, 22 brands. The same ID is honoured at Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality Inn, Clarion, Sleep Inn, Cambria, Econo Lodge, Rodeway and the rest. There is no Comfort variant to ask your travel desk for — if your employer holds a Choice agreement, the number already on your travel profile is the Comfort Inn number.
- The same percentage buys less here. Choice files Comfort Inn in its budget and midscale tier, next to Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway, while Cambria and the Ascend collection sit a tier above. A corporate ID takes a percentage off whatever the night costs, so an identical ID moves fewer dollars at a Comfort Inn than at a Cambria. On a $100 night, 15% is $15; on a $180 night, the same 15% is $27. Same code, smaller absolute saving — worth knowing before you drive across town for the cheaper brand.
Comfort Inn vs Quality Inn — what actually differs, and what does not
"Comfort inn quality inn" and "which is better quality inn or comfort inn" are two of the searches that reach this page, and the honest answer has two halves. On codes, nothing differs: both brands run on the same Choice Special Rate IDs listed below, typed into the same box. On the stay itself, the two are positioned a step apart, and the difference is worth about the price of breakfast.
- Same owner, same programme. Both are Choice Hotels brands, both earn Choice Privileges points, and both accept every ID in the verified table below. A rate that prices at one prices at the other in the same market.
- Positioning. Comfort Inn is the more heavily refreshed of the two; Quality Inn's estate skews older and varies more from property to property. The brand table one of our listings publishes files both in the same Budget class as Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway, with Cambria and Ascend a tier above.
- Star ratings. Neither brand carries a chain-wide star level, which is why "how many stars is comfort inn" has no single answer. Individual properties are rated by third parties — AAA, Google, TripAdvisor — and the same brand name can be a three-diamond property in one city and a two-diamond franchise in the next. The brand tells you the tier, not the stars.
- When the difference pays. If the two are within a few dollars on your dates, take the newer property. If Quality Inn is meaningfully cheaper, the corporate ID works at both — the percentage comes off whichever base rate you book.
One caveat the listings make explicit: participation depends on the property. A franchised Quality Inn that has not joined the rate programme returns nothing while a Comfort Inn across the street honours it. That is the property declining the rate plan, not a dead code — try a second hotel in the area before writing the number off.

Comfort Suites — the same ID, an all-suites stay
"Comfort suites corporate" and "comfort inn and suites" searches land on this page because the two names get treated as one brand. They are not: Comfort Suites is a separate Choice brand — all-suite properties, a higher base rate than a standard Comfort Inn room, and a smaller footprint than its sibling.
- The code does not change. Every Special Rate ID in the verified table below is honoured at Comfort Suites exactly as at Comfort Inn, entered in the same Special Rate box on the same booking form. There is no Comfort Suites variant to ask your travel desk for.
- The saving gets bigger, not smaller. The negotiated percentage comes off the nightly rate, and a suite costs more per night than a room — so the same 15% moves more dollars at a Comfort Suites than at a Comfort Inn. The brand-tier arithmetic from the section above runs in reverse here.
- Coverage is thinner. Comfort Suites is a much smaller brand than Comfort Inn and fewer listings name it explicitly. The IDs below are confirmed at chain level, which covers it — but an ID that returns nothing at one property is that property, not the code.

How to enter a Comfort Inn corporate code
- Go to choicehotels.com or open the Choice Hotels app, and enter your destination and dates. Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites properties are in the default search.
- Open the Special Rate dropdown on the search form and scroll to the bottom of the list — that is where the corporate / promo code box sits.
- Paste the ID, then click Apply. Listings label this field Special Rate / Corporate ID or Corporate/Promo Code; it is the same box.
- Keep the leading zeros. ABN is published as both 00845160 and 845160, Harvard as both 00076514 and 76514. They are the same account, and the form accepts either.
- Booking by phone instead? my Better Benefits' own Comfort Inn page tells members to call (877) 424-6423 and quote Special Rate ID # 00194080 to the reservations agent.
- Compare the result against the Choice Privileges member rate before you book — corporate rates still earn Choice Privileges points and elite night credit, and the member rate carries no eligibility question at the front desk.

Multi-source verified codes
3 IDs below, each confirmed in at least two independent listings. The third column is the discount as the listings state it — where they disagree, both figures are shown. The last column is the date that ID was most recently checked.
| Company | Code | Listed discount | Confirmed in | Last checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ABN (Allied Business Network) | 00845160 | up to 15% (three listings agree) | 4 | Sep 2026 |
| Harvard University | 00076514 | 20%–25% (sources disagree) | 3 | Sep 2026 |
| my Better Benefits | 00194080 | 10%–20% (sources disagree) | 2 | Sep 2026 |
On a phone, swipe the table left/right to see all columns.
ABN is the strongest entry on the page: ABN publishes the number on its own discount page at abnsave.com, which is as close to a primary source as this category gets, and three separate listings quote the same 15%. Harvard's ID is the one with documented brand coverage — the listing that checks it against Harvard's own procurement page says the agreement covers all 22 Choice brands, Comfort included. my Better Benefits is the only organization here with a page built specifically around Comfort Inn, which is why it clears two sources despite being the smallest of the three.
Last checked per code is the most recent update among its sources.
Codes to check before relying on them
21 IDs below, each listed by a single source. We are not saying they are wrong — we are saying no second listing corroborates them. Test before relying on any of them.

Two rows deserve a flag. OFSC (801347) is listed with a 100% discount, which we read as a listing error rather than a real rate. Siemens (58650) comes from the one listing whose other brand pages contain placeholder-shaped codes — see the next section for why that matters.

What we dropped, and why
Seven candidate listings were checked for this page. Two were dropped outright, one was kept but downgraded, and five carried usable records. That is why the verified table has three rows and not thirty.
- hotelcorporatecodes.com — its Choice Hotels table is the same six records, in the same order, as corporate-codes.com. A listing whose entries are a subset of another site is a copy, not corroboration, so we counted the two as one source.
- hotel-corporate-code.com — it has a URL built for Comfort Inn, /brands/comfort-inn-corporate-codes, but the page returns "Brand Not Found". A page that answers 200 and then says the brand does not exist is not a source.
- corporate-codes.com — kept, with a flag. It lists the same organization twice (ABN 845160 and Allied Business Network 00845160 are one ID under two names), and it puts AAA in the code column, which is a rate label rather than an account number. Its Choice page shows no placeholder or arithmetic sequence, so we did not discard it — but its "Verified Working" ticks are not treated as confirmation. We did discard that site's Best Western page outright, where the codes were placeholder-shaped.
- Coupon pages. Two of the ten results ranking for this phrase are coupon aggregators advertising 70% and 20% off. Those are promotional codes and seasonal offers, not negotiated rates, and none of their codes appear here.
- milepro's own deletions. That listing says it removed university codes it could not verify against the schools' own travel pages. We inherit that discipline: no university ID appears on this page unless a second listing carries it.

Restrictions (as the listings state them)
- Corporate rates are tied to an organization's negotiated agreement. You can use a code only if you have a genuine affiliation with that organization — employee, contractor travelling on its behalf, or, for university rates, faculty, staff or students covered by the agreement.
- Expect to be asked for proof at check-in: a company or university ID, a business card, or a corporate email address. Economy properties often never ask; the front desk always can.
- If eligibility can't be established, the hotel can reprice your stay at the best available public rate and strip the negotiated benefits. Using a code you're not entitled to is a gamble, not a strategy.
- Participation is uneven. Comfort Inn is almost entirely franchised, and a valid chain-wide ID can return nothing at a particular Comfort Inn on a particular date. That is the property not joining the rate program, not a broken code — try a second Comfort Inn in the same area before concluding the ID is dead.
- University entries are negotiated for that institution's own community and are not general-purpose codes.
- Corporate rates can usually be cancelled free up to 24 hours before arrival, local time, but confirm the specific rate rules shown with your booking.

How we checked these IDs
Because Comfort Inn and Quality Inn issue nothing under their own name, this page is really a check on Choice-level IDs — which means the same five listings used on the Choice page, and the same three dropped: hotelcorporatecodes.com (a same-order copy of corporate-codes.com), hotel-corporate-code.com (a shell that answers with "Brand Not Found"), and coupon pages, which sell promotions rather than negotiated rates.
The result is the three IDs above: 00845160 (ABN), 00076514 (Harvard University) and 00194080 (my Better Benefits). Each is carried by at least two independent listings; everything else Choice circulates is listed once and sits in the check-first table. Leading zeros are not meaningful here either — 00845160 and 845160 are the same ID, as are 00076514 and 76514.
The full method behind these tables is on how we verify a code.

Where the listings disagree about these IDs
- The discount figure, not the ID. Harvard's rate is stated as 20%–25% by one listing and my Better Benefits as 10%–20% by two different ones. The ID is confirmed; the saving is not. Both ranges are shown above rather than averaged into a number nobody published.
- Same number, two owners. 803277 is filed as "Century 21 Business" in the Choice lists and as "Century 21 System" in Wyndham's — the number is real, the ownership is not agreed.
- Alphabetic where you expect digits. Florida International University's ID is printed as LFIU in one place and 803291 in another. At Comfort Inn and Quality Inn the field accepts digits, so an alphabetic form is worth treating as suspect until it is tested.
- Brand-tier discount. Choice issues these IDs once for all 22 brands, but the same ID is worth fewer dollars at a Comfort Inn than at a Cambria, because the negotiated percentage is applied to a lower base rate. A smaller saving at a Comfort Inn is the programme working as designed, not the code failing.
