How to enter an IHG corporate code

  1. Go to ihg.com and open the booking form for your destination and dates.
  2. Look for the Corporate ID / Corporate or Group Code field on the search form. This is the field IHG's own booking widgets use for contracted rates.
  3. Type the company's code in that field, then run the search.
  4. If a property doesn't honor the code, it simply won't return a corporate rate — try nearby IHG properties or different dates.
  5. Compare the corporate rate against the member and public rates before booking, and keep proof of eligibility ready for check-in.
Leading zeros: IHG codes are mostly numeric, and the same account is often written with or without leading zeros (for example 109207 and 000109207). We treat those as the same code. Where a listing gives a genuinely different number, we show the disagreement instead of picking one.

Frequently asked questions

Can anyone use an IHG corporate code?

No. Corporate rates are tied to a company's negotiated agreement, so a code can be used only by people with a legitimate business affiliation — employees, clients, or suppliers the company has cleared. Hotels increasingly check eligibility at check-in, and if you don't qualify they can reprice the booking to the best public or loyalty rate. A code being listed on this page is not permission to use it.

Why do some IHG codes have leading zeros?

The same account is often published with and without leading zeros — 109207 and 000109207 are the same code, and this page treats them that way. Both six-digit and nine-digit codes are real: of the 30 verified codes, 17 are six digits and 11 are nine digits. A longer number is not a better one.

Where do I type an IHG corporate code?

On ihg.com, open the booking form for your destination and dates and use the Corporate ID / Corporate or Group Code field, then run the search. If a property does not participate, no corporate rate comes back — try nearby IHG hotels or different dates.

How many IHG codes here are actually verified?

30 codes, each confirmed in at least two independent listings, most recently checked in September 2026. Numbers that appear in only one listing are kept in the check-first table rather than the verified one.

Why IHG code numbers come in two lengths

Of the 30 codes in the verified table above, 17 are six digits and 11 are nine digits. One is eight digits (University of Texas, 99502056) and one is letters (Arizona State University, ASU). Both length families are real: 3M is 101672, Microsoft is 100857558, and each appears in three or four independent listings.

A longer code is not a better code. Length here tracks which account system issued the number, not how large the discount is and not which brand tier it prices on. What length is actually useful for is telling a corporate ID apart from the other numbers that circulate beside it.

Google's own people-also-ask box for this search contains "What is the IHG promo code 70027?". We looked it up. 70027 is five digits, and it is not a corporate ID at all: it was an IHG One Rewards registration code for instant Diamond elite status, roughly three years old, and the pages still carrying it label it expired. Typed into the Corporate ID field it does nothing.

IHG corporate codes are six or nine digits; the five-digit number people search for is a promotion, not a corporate ID.
30 corroborated IHG codes: 17 are six digits, 11 are nine, one is eight, one is letters. The five-digit 70027 is not among them — it was an elite-status promotion.

One source we dropped for this brand. We no longer count hotel-corporate-code.com as a source for IHG. Its IHG table gives the same number to unrelated companies — 109193 under EY, Exterran and Facebook; 106372 under HP and Honeywell; Coca-Cola's 128813 under "drury"; GE's 102806 under "Gillette" — and it lists a single digit, 7, as a Deloitte code. That is a whole-source rejection, not a row deletion. Dropping it left the verified table at 30 codes and cut the table below from 36 rows to 15.

Codes to check before relying on them

These are either confirmed by only one listing, or the listings disagree with each other, or one listing flags them as unverified or likely expired. Test before relying on any of them.

How we checked the IHG codes

30 codes reached the verified table; 36 sit in the check-first table. Both tables come out of the same pass over public listings, and the split is decided by one rule: at least two independent listings have to agree.

Two things about IHG make that check worth the trouble. First, the numbers are long — eleven of the thirty confirmed codes are nine digits — and a transposed digit inside a nine-digit number is hard to spot by eye, so a wrong code and a right code look equally plausible on the page. Second, as the next section shows, the same digits really do turn up filed under different companies. That is a copying artefact rather than a property of the codes, but it means a collision here is not automatically an error and has to be read one case at a time.

Both tables come out of the same pass over public listings. The rule, and the reasoning behind it, are set out on how we verify a code.

Where the IHG listings disagree

Two patterns, both visible in the check-first table.

One number, several owners:

One company, several numbers:

Neither pattern makes a code wrong. It means that for IHG — as for Hyatt and Choice — a number you find on another site is worth one extra test before you build a trip around it.
