Hilton Employee Discount: Go Hilton Team Member Rates

Hilton’s employee discount is the Go Hilton Team Member Travel Program: a restricted Team Member rate for eligible Hilton employees and a separate Family & Friends rate for people they authorize. Eligible Team Members book through the Go Hilton employee booking site; approved family and friends use their own Hilton Honors login after the employee authorizes them. Hilton publicly advertises Team Member rates as low as $40 USD and Family & Friends rates at 50% off publicly available rates; the exact nightly price depends on the hotel, date and available inventory. Hilton’s U.S. benefits page describes up to 40 Team Member room nights and 70 Family & Friends room nights per calendar year.

Quick distinction: this is an employee benefit based on a real Hilton employment relationship and employee-authorized access. It is not a corporate account code. For negotiated company rates, see our separate Hilton corporate codes page.

The public Help Center summary says authorized family and friends can stay without the authorizing employee when they book their own Family & Friends reservation. The employee must be present for a reservation in the employee’s name under either Go Hilton rate. That difference is central: a guest’s F&F access does not turn a Team Member booking into a transferable discount.

Who is eligible?

Go Hilton is for eligible Hilton Team Members and the family and friends they authorize. The public summary does not provide a complete relationship-by-relationship eligibility matrix; Hilton directs Team Members to the Program Guide on Go Hilton Lobby for controlling details. Access follows the employee’s authorization and the program’s current rules—not simply a claim of being related to an employee.

How to book through Go Hilton

  1. The eligible Team Member signs in to Hilton’s employee portal and opens the Go Hilton area. Hilton does not publish Team Member rate codes or a universal F&F PIN for public use.
  2. For a guest, the employee adds or authorizes that person through the employee-side process and follows the current portal instructions. Share access only with the person authorized; do not sell, post or broker it.
  3. The Team Member or approved guest signs into the Go Hilton booking site or Hilton Honors app with their own Hilton Honors credentials. A guest needs their own account and makes their own reservation.
  4. Search the destination and dates, select the eligible Go Hilton rate that appears, and review the total, cancellation terms and room details before booking.
  5. Keep the reservation in the traveler’s own name and account, and be ready to confirm eligibility if the property requests it. The public summary requires the eligible traveler to be present; it does not promise that a specific physical employee card will always be requested.
There is no public code to copy. Go Hilton rates are accessed through the authorized account and booking path. We do not publish or invent employee rate codes, F&F PINs or access credentials.

How much can you save?

Hilton’s U.S. careers benefits page publishes two reference points: Team Member room rates “as low as $40 USD” and Family & Friends rates at 50% off publicly available rates. The first is a floor example, not a promise that every room costs $40; the second is Hilton’s stated F&F structure, not a guarantee that a discounted room is available on every date. Hilton does not publish a fixed Team Member percentage discount or a public rate card. Compare the final eligible rate with the same hotel, room type and dates on the public site.

Hilton’s public help summary describes annual allowances of up to 40 Team Member room nights and 70 Family & Friends room nights per Team Member, with F&F use counting toward the shared F&F allotment. It also describes a maximum of seven consecutive nights at each rate. The employee-only Program Guide controls if its current rules differ from this public summary.

Availability and date checks

Go Hilton inventory is capacity controlled, so a discounted rate is not promised at every hotel for every date. Hilton says availability is based on forecast occupancy and can change; peak-demand nights may have no Go Hilton inventory. Its public guidance suggests flexible dates, checking one night at a time, and searching again later.

Brands, locations and verification

Hilton describes Go Hilton as operating at thousands of Hilton hotels and resorts around the world. The public summary does not give a stable exhaustive list of participating properties or guarantee every branded hotel will offer a Go Hilton rate on a requested date. Check the property and dates in the authorized booking channel. The $40 and 50% figures appear on Hilton’s U.S. benefits page; taxes, currency, local rules and inventory can affect the final price elsewhere.

Can you combine it with a corporate code or another offer?

Treat each rate as a separate booking price path. A corporate account rate requires the relevant company agreement and affiliation; Go Hilton eligibility comes from the Hilton employment program. They are not interchangeable, and you should not expect to enter a company code on top of a Go Hilton rate. Compare eligible options before booking and follow the selected rate’s terms. Hilton’s public summary does not give a comprehensive stacking table for every Honors offer, promotion or property package, so check displayed terms rather than assuming combinations are allowed.

Eligibility checks and misuse consequences

The property may verify the booking name and program eligibility. Make sure the guest matches the authorized reservation and follows check-in rules. Hilton says Go Hilton access may not be sold, auctioned, bartered, brokered, purchased or transferred. It warns fraudulent use can lead to cancellation, loss of Go Hilton privileges, Hilton Honors account closure and forfeiture of points or stay credits; employees may also face discipline up to termination. A rate appearing in search is not proof of authorization.

Three claims on the top results that are wrong

Mighty Travels' 2016 numbers no longer match Hilton's published rates

Mighty Travels' article dated October 11, 2016 still ranks for this term and states three figures: a Team Member rate of $55 per night (citing Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and Curio), 30 Family & Friends room nights per approved guest per year, and a Friends & Family rate of "50% off the Best Available Rate." As of our check on November 3, 2026, Hilton's own U.S. benefits page (jobs.hilton.com/benefits-us) states Team Member rates "as low as $40" and Family & Friends rates at "50% off publicly available rates," and Hilton's Go Hilton Help Center lists the annual allotment as 40 Team Member nights and 70 Family & Friends nights per Team Member. So the $55 figure is stale (the current floor is $40), the 30-night Family & Friends cap is wrong (it is 70), and the 50% applies to "publicly available rates," not strictly the Best Available Rate. None of those 2016 numbers should be trusted for a 2026 booking.

Three more guides repeat the same stale 30-night and $35 figures

Mighty Travels is not alone. viphoteltravel states a flat "30 discounted room nights" and a "$35 per night" Team Member rate — both wrong: Hilton's current U.S. benefits page shows Team Member rates "as low as $40," and the Go Hilton Help Center puts the annual total at 40 Team Member nights plus 70 Family & Friends nights (110 combined), not 30. corporatehotelcodes lists Team Member rates in four tiers of "$35, $45, $55, $75" and again a "30 nights" cap; Hilton publishes no such fixed tier list and the night cap is 110, not 30. LoyaltyLobby's guide, dated 2021, also repeats "30 room nights" for the Friends & Family rate. The current Hilton figure is 70 Friends & Family nights per Team Member per year (2026-11-03 check). None of these three pages has been updated to the 40 + 70 = 110 night structure or the $40 floor, so any 2026 booking planned off them will be built on numbers Hilton no longer uses.

"Corporate code" and "employee discount" are not the same program

Some pages that rank for this term list corporate codes and present them next to the employee discount as if they were one thing. They are not. hiltoncorporatecodes.com, for example, shows company codes such as 3M (N0001542, up to 20%) and Accenture (10850857, up to 25%) and files them alongside "Hilton employee discount" results. A corporate code is a negotiated rate tied to a named employer agreement: you book it by entering the company code at hilton.com and you must be affiliated with that company. Go Hilton is an employee travel benefit that comes from a Hilton employment relationship — there is no public code to copy, and the eligible person books through the authorized Go Hilton account. The two rate paths have different eligibility and do not combine:

LineWhat it isHow you bookEligibility
Corporate codeNegotiated company rate (e.g., 3M, Accenture)Enter the company code at hilton.comAffiliation with that employer
Go Hilton employee rateTeam Member / Family & Friends benefitAuthorized Go Hilton accountCurrent Hilton employment relationship

If you have a corporate code from your employer, that is a separate booking from any Go Hilton rate you might be authorized for. A corporate code cannot create Go Hilton eligibility, and a Go Hilton authorization is not a corporate code.

"The discount only applies to team members who left their jobs" is backwards

One result (hilton-com-go.com) claims the discount "only applies to qualified team members who have left their jobs" and cannot be offered to their families. That is wrong. Go Hilton eligibility runs through a current Hilton employment relationship: an active Team Member uses the Team Member rate and authorizes family and friends for the Family & Friends rate. When a Team Member separates or is terminated, their Go Hilton access ends — so the benefit is for active employees and their authorized guests, not for people who have left. The page also misstates the family rule: authorized family and friends can and do use the Family & Friends rate; they simply book under their own Hilton Honors account after the employee authorizes them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Hilton employee discount?

It is the Go Hilton Team Member Travel Program, with separate Team Member and Family & Friends rates for eligible employees and authorized guests.

Can a friend use the Hilton Team Member rate?

No. A friend authorized by an eligible Team Member may book the Family & Friends rate in their own Hilton Honors account. Team Member rates are for eligible employees, who must be present for their own reservation.

Does the employee have to travel with a Family & Friends guest?

Not when the authorized guest makes their own Family & Friends reservation under their own Hilton Honors account. The employee must be present for a stay booked in the employee’s name.

How much is the Hilton employee rate?

Hilton publicly says Team Member rates can be as low as $40 USD, but does not publish a fixed percentage discount. Family & Friends rates are stated as 50% off publicly available rates. Actual prices and availability vary by property and date.

Can I use a Hilton corporate code with Go Hilton?

They are different rate paths with different eligibility rules. Do not assume they can be stacked; compare the rates you are eligible to book and follow the terms displayed for each one.
